Caliper render for this kit:

The 8V S3’s front-biased Haldex quattro and transverse 2.0 TFSI carry most of the car’s mass over the nose, which leaves the rear axle doing comparatively little of the braking on the road. Push the same chassis hard on a circuit and that balance starts to bite: the fronts cook, the pedal lengthens, and the rear has nothing left to give. The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit for the Audi S3 8V Quattro is built to bring the back axle into the conversation.
Fitted to the rear of the 2014-2026 8V, this is a kit for owners who track their S3 or lean on it down a fast B-road and have already sorted the front end. Two-piece floating rotors, three pad compounds and a full set of caliper finishes let you match the rear setup to how the car is actually used.
What this brake kit does for your 2014-2026 Audi S3 8V Quattro
On a Haldex car that sends drive rearward only when it needs to, a stronger rear brake gives you something the standard setup cannot: consistent bias when you are hard on the pedal into a corner. The two-piece floating disc strips rotational and unsprung mass from the rear axle, which sharpens the MQB platform’s turn-in and settles the car under trail-braking. The three pad compounds cover the full range: the Street compound for quiet, low-dust daily driving, the Sport compound for committed road use and light track work, and the Racing compound for repeat heavy stops where heat is the enemy. Braided lines keep the pedal firm as it heats. You feel it as a firmer, more progressive pedal that holds its travel through a hard session rather than going long. Choose from Red, Yellow, Gold, Black or Anodized Black at no extra cost, or a custom Pantone caliper finish, so the rear hardware matches the rest of the car.
About the Hollow Rear Brake Kit
The kit centres on two-piece floating rotors with hollow internal vanes, machined to shed weight and expose more surface area for heat to escape, the two things that matter most on a brake working at the back of a hard-driven hot hatch. The forged caliper is hollow-bodied as standard. Lighter discs mean less rotating mass for the S3 to slow and bring back up to speed, while the cooling-led design helps the rear resist the fade that creeps in once disc temperatures climb. The system is configured specifically for the rear axle rather than adapted from a front kit, so the clamping force suits the loads the back of the car actually sees. Pad choice runs across three compounds, Street, Sport and Racing, letting the same hardware serve a road-biased S3 or a dedicated track build. Caliper colours, including a custom Pantone option, plus drilled or slotted discs at the same price and two-tone anodized or titanium centre bells, cover finish without affecting function. Braided lines are included. It is a rear upgrade aimed at drivers who want the whole car braking in balance, not just the front.
Fitment for the Audi S3 8V Quattro (2014-2026)
This kit is sized for the 8V-generation Audi S3 in quattro form, covering the 2014 to 2026 model span. It fits the rear axle only, as a pair of rear calipers and discs, and is intended as a complement to a matched front setup. Confirm your car is the 8V quattro variant before ordering, as fitment is specific to this chassis.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
