Caliper render for this kit:

The B9 A4 carries its longitudinal engine ahead of the front axle, and in 2WD form that leaves the rear doing comparatively little of the braking work, right up until you start using the car hard. The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit for the Audi A4 B9 2WD targets exactly that imbalance, giving the back axle the thermal headroom and bite it needs once you are stringing corners together on a fast B-road or a track day.
This is a rear-axle upgrade, not a styling exercise. It pairs a larger, two-piece floating disc with an uprated caliper and a choice of pad compound, so the rear stops fading behind the front and the car settles under heavy retardation rather than pitching forward. On a 2016-2026 A4 that sees genuine use, it restores the front-to-rear balance the standard setup gives away once everything is warm.
What this brake kit does for your 2016-2026 Audi A4 B9 2WD
The first thing you notice on a 2016-2026 Audi A4 B9 2WD is that the rear axle no longer runs out of brake before the fronts do. The larger two-piece floating disc sheds heat faster, so repeat stops from speed hold a firmer pedal instead of going long and soft. Bias shifts slightly rearward under load, which keeps the nose-heavy B9 from diving so sharply and lets you brake later into a corner with more confidence. Run the Racing compound and the rear bites hard enough to help rotate the car on trail-braking; the Street compound keeps things quiet and low-dust for the daily commute, with the Sport pad sitting between the two for harder road use. Selectable caliper colours, from the included painted finishes through to premium polished and candy options, let the kit suit the car rather than shout over it.
About the Hollow rear brake kit
The XYZ Racing rear big brake kit is built around an oversized two-piece floating disc designed to add cooling and thermal mass to an axle the factory specifies modestly on a front-driven A4. The caliper is hollow-bodied as standard to keep mass down, with an optional Hollow Racing build for sustained track use that removes the dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty. Three pad compounds are offered: Street for quiet, low-dust everyday driving, Sport for a sharper bite with controlled heat for fast-road use, and Racing for sustained heat where a road pad would glaze and fade. The caliper ships in included painted colours of Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black at no extra cost, with a Custom Color in any Pantone for £150, premium polished-forged finishes in Titanium, Polished Gold and Polished Silver, and candy finishes in Teal, Blue, Red and Orange to match the wheel and brake setup. The intent is a rear axle that keeps pace with an upgraded front, not a cosmetic caliper cover: the greater swept area and vented disc are there to manage heat across repeated heavy stops.
Fitment for the Audi A4 B9 2WD (2016-2026)
This kit is cut for the B9-generation Audi A4 in 2WD form, covering the 2016 to 2026 model years. It is specified for the front-driven car specifically, so confirm your A4 is the 2WD version rather than quattro before ordering. Check wheel clearance against the disc and caliper dimensions before you order.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
