Caliper render for this kit:

The AE95 sits at a specific point in Toyota’s Corolla story: the all-wheel-drive variant within the sixth-generation E90 range, a configuration that brought genuine wet-weather traction to the compact class at a time when 4WD in a family car was far from standard. That drivetrain layout changes nothing about where braking energy concentrates: weight still transfers forward under hard deceleration, and the front axle still carries the majority of every stop. On a car now approaching its fortieth year, the original front brake hardware is rarely operating anywhere near Toyota’s design specification.
This XYZ Racing Hollow Front Brake Kit addresses the AE95’s front end directly. Three pad compounds let the same kit work for a car in daily use or one being prepared for circuit or stage work, and the caliper finish can be set in line with a faithful restoration or a more aggressive build. Street is the quiet, low-dust default, Sport adds bite and heat range, and Racing is the dedicated track compound.
What this brake kit does for your 1988-1991 Toyota COROLLA AE95
In the AE95, forward weight transfer under hard braking places the primary deceleration demand on the front axle regardless of the 4WD layout; the fronts do the heavy work in every serious stop. Renewed calipers and fresh friction material restore the pedal feel that 35-year-old rubber seals and worn compound cannot provide, and the included braided lines firm it further. The hollow-vane, two-piece floating disc rejects heat more efficiently than the factory ironwork and trims rotating mass. Street suits regular road use and keeps dust manageable, Sport raises bite and heat range for faster road driving, and Racing is built for sustained hard use where repeated high-temperature stops are the limiting factor. The caliper finish lets the installation sit within the car’s existing build direction without affecting which pad specification is ordered.
About the Hollow brake kit
The XYZ Racing Hollow Front Brake Kit is a direct-fit front braking replacement designed for production cars where the original equipment has aged beyond its useful range, or where the car’s use has moved beyond what the factory specification was designed to handle. Fresh calipers, hollow-bodied as standard, pair with hollow-vane two-piece floating discs, braided lines, and a three-compound pad selection spanning everyday road commuting through to competition use. That three-tier structure means the same Hollow kit can be configured differently for two AE95s with entirely different roles: a Street compound for a road car accumulating everyday miles, a Racing compound for a car being prepared for hillclimbing or stage events. Caliper colour is customer-specified when you order: painted Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, and Anodized Black are included at no extra cost, with a Custom Color in any Pantone at £150 and premium polished-forged and candy finishes also offered.
Fitment for the Toyota COROLLA AE95 (1988-1991)
This brake kit is confirmed for the Toyota Corolla AE95 produced between 1988 and 1991. The AE95 designates the all-wheel-drive configuration within the sixth-generation E90 Corolla range. Fitment within the E90 family is not uniform across drivetrain variants, so confirm the AE95 chassis code before ordering; it can be found on the compliance plate in the engine bay or on the door jamb of surviving cars.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 286–380mm (front). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
