Caliper render for this kit:

The R33 Skyline carries its RB-series engine well forward of the front axle, and that mass makes itself felt under hard braking. Both the RB25DET GTS-T and the twin-turbo RB26DETT GT-R ask a great deal of the front rotors on circuit, and the stock setup, adequate for road work, runs out of thermal headroom quickly once you’re pressing into the same slow corners repeatedly. This XYZ Racing front big brake kit for the 1995-1998 R33 addresses exactly that.
Three pad compounds mean the same kit serves owners differently depending on what the R33 is being used for. Daily drivers take Street, fast-road regulars will want Sport, and those running Silverstone or Brands Hatch will reach for Racing. The kit supplies a matched pair of front discs and calipers.
What this brake kit does for your 1995-1998 Nissan SKYLINE R33
Moving substantially more rotor mass and swept area into the equation is the correct answer to the R33’s front-end braking demands. Under repeated hard stops, more thermal capacity keeps temperatures in a manageable range for longer; fade arrives later and recovery between corners is faster, helped by the hollow-vane discs drawing heat off the friction face. The Racing compound sharpens initial bite and firms up pedal feel noticeably compared to road pads, which takes a session to adapt to but rewards the adjustment; Sport bridges fast road and occasional track, and Street keeps a quiet, low-dust daily. With the caliper available in several finishes, there are visual decisions to make if the R33 is going to shows as well as circuit days.
About the Hollow Front Brake Kit
This is XYZ Racing’s front big brake offering, engineered to replace the standard front assembly on fitment-matched vehicles and supplied as a pair of front discs and calipers. The caliper finish is chosen from Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, and Anodized Black at no extra cost, giving owners the range from understated to conspicuous, with a Custom Color option matching any Pantone for an additional fee and premium polished-forged and candy finishes available. Pad compound is selected when you order: Street covers road use and relaxed spirited driving; Sport raises the ceiling for fast-road and occasional track sessions; Racing is built for sustained high-temperature braking where the front axle is doing repeated heavy work. The calipers are hollow-body as standard, with an optional Hollow Racing upgrade for serious track use that drops the dust cover, is rated to 1000C, and carries a two-year warranty. As a front-axle upgrade on a car whose nose already carries the weight of a big straight-six, the kit targets load distribution correctly. Disc style is drilled or slotted at the same price, with two-tone anodized or titanium centre bells selectable at checkout.
Fitment for the Nissan SKYLINE R33 (1995-1998)
This big brake kit is listed for the Nissan SKYLINE R33 across the 1995-1998 production window, covering BNR33 GT-R and ECR33 GTS-T variants within that run. If your car is a grey import or has been fitted with non-standard front hubs at some point, confirm hub dimensions against the kit spec before ordering.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 286–380mm (front). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
