Caliper render for this kit:

The naturally aspirated R32 Skyline is, for a growing number of UK enthusiasts, the more interesting version of the legend. Lighter than the GT-R, free from the complexity of the ATTESA-ETS transfer case, and with an RB20DE or RB20E up front that rewards a progressive throttle foot, the GTS and GTS-s are increasingly treated as serious driver’s machines rather than second-tier alternatives. The stock front brakes were never the weak point when the car was new, but they are now: 35 years of age, rising power from engine work, and the demands of track use combine to make a front brake upgrade one of the most consequential modifications available.
This XYZ Racing front brake kit for the Nissan Skyline R32 NA (1989-1994) addresses this directly, supplying a matched pair of front discs and calipers. Pad compounds spanning Street through to Racing mean the kit can be configured to match exactly how the car is being used, from spirited road driving to regular circuit sessions where heat management and fade resistance become the priority.
What this brake kit does for your 1989-1994 Nissan SKYLINE R32 NA
The R32 NA’s relatively modest kerbweight, somewhere in the region of 1,200kg, means it responds quickly to brake upgrades. Stopping distances tighten, pedal feel sharpens, and the confidence to trail-brake into slow corners increases markedly. The hollow-vane disc construction reduces rotating and unsprung mass at the front axle, which the R32’s MacPherson strut front end translates directly into improved turn-in response and more consistent feel through the steering. With three pad grades available, the same kit that serves reliably in daily use can be respecced to Racing compound for track days without a full component swap: Street is the quiet, low-dust default and Sport bridges fast road and occasional circuit. Caliper colour choices let the brakes complement whatever direction the build is taking visually.
About the Hollow Front Brake Kit
This XYZ Racing front brake kit takes its name from the hollow-vane disc construction, a technique that reduces overall rotor mass while maintaining the swept area and heat capacity fade-resistant braking demands. The front-specific application concentrates the upgrade where the R32 NA does the majority of its braking work, supplied as a pair of front discs and calipers. Compound selection starts with Street for road use, progresses through Sport for the thermal cycling of mixed road-and-track driving, and extends to Racing for drivers pushing the car at circuits. The calipers are hollow-body as standard, with an optional Hollow Racing upgrade for serious track use that removes the dust cover, is rated to 1000C, and carries a two-year warranty.
Caliper finish is selectable from Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, and Anodized Black at no extra cost, with a Custom Color option matching any Pantone for an additional fee and premium polished-forged and candy finishes available. Disc style is drilled or slotted at the same price, and two-tone anodized or titanium centre bells are selectable at checkout, making the visual result as configurable as the performance spec.
Fitment for the Nissan SKYLINE R32 NA (1989-1994)
This kit is specified for the naturally aspirated variants of the Nissan Skyline R32 generation, produced from 1989 to 1994, covering the GTS and GTS-s body styles with RB20E and RB20DE engines. It is not configured for the R32 GT-R or the turbocharged GTS-t, which use different front hub and caliper mounting arrangements. Confirm your variant before ordering.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 286–380mm (front). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
