Caliper render for this kit:

The W220 S Class was engineered around comfort, refinement, and effortless long-distance cruising: the S350’s V6 and chassis tuning are calibrated for composed, unhurried progress rather than repeated hard stops at speed. Push that priority into a fast motorway descent or a loaded mountain road, and the factory front brakes reveal their limits: pedal travel grows, the initial bite becomes diffuse, and confidence in the car’s ability to scrub speed cleanly begins to drain exactly when you need it most.
The XYZ Racing front big brake kit addresses the front axle directly, where the W220 carries the majority of its substantial mass. Supplied as a matched pair of left and right front calipers and two-piece floating discs, with a choice of pad compound and caliper finish, it makes the upgrade visible through the alloys in a way the original callipers were never intended to be.
What this brake kit does for your 2002-2005 Mercedes Benz S Class W220 S 350
The hollow-vane rotor pulls heat away from the friction surface during sustained braking, a meaningful advantage in a car of the S Class’s weight class where thermal load accumulates quickly when you are shedding motorway speed repeatedly. The two-piece floating bell lets the friction ring expand without coning, and reduced rotating mass sharpens turn-in once the brakes have been used hard. Sport sits above Street in initial bite and fade resistance without introducing the cold-bite sensitivity that makes a full race pad impractical on a daily-driven W220, while Street remains the quiet, low-dust everyday default. At the front axle of a nose-heavy saloon, consistent braking response under load translates into shorter stopping distances and a pedal that does not soften as the rotors heat through. Racing is the track compound for owners putting their W220 onto a circuit, where sustained heat build-up would eventually overwhelm the standard front setup. Disc faces are offered drilled or slotted at the same price.
About the Front Brake Kit
The kit centres on a two-piece floating, hollow-vane rotor, channelling heat away from the braking surface during high-load use, with a floating bell that lets the friction ring grow without distortion. The caliper is hollow-bodied as standard, light and stiff to resist flex, with an optional Hollow Racing upgrade for circuit or aggressive fast-road use that deletes the dust cover, is rated to 1000C, and carries a two-year warranty. Braided lines firm the pedal, and centre bells can be upgraded to two-tone anodizing in five colours or titanium at checkout. The included painted caliper finishes (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) resist corrosion through UK winters and are no extra cost; a Custom Color in any Pantone is 150 pounds, and premium polished-forged and candy finishes are also available, letting buyers match the caliper to the car’s wider specification. This is a front-axle kit, targeting the braking load distribution that matters most on a large luxury saloon.
Fitment for the Mercedes Benz S CLASS W220 S 350 (2002-2005)
This kit is confirmed for the Mercedes Benz S Class W220 S 350, covering model years 2002 to 2005 and supplied as a left-and-right front pair. Cross-reference your chassis code against the W220 platform designation before ordering. This listing covers the front axle only; if a full four-corner upgrade is the goal, a matching rear kit is available separately.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 286–380mm (front). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
