Caliper render for this kit:

As Mazda’s largest SUV, the CX-9 TC MK2 puts close to two tonnes behind its front brake circuit, with the SKYACTIV-G 2.5T engine up front and i-ACTIV AWD underneath, and all of that mass transfers forward on every hard stop. Three rows of seating mean the car is rarely lightly loaded in normal use, and the front circuit absorbs the consequences every time the driver uses the pedal seriously. The factory setup handles the composed, deliberate stops the CX-9 was designed around; the margins start to matter when the car is pressed harder, loaded heavier, or driven through extended descents.
XYZ Racing’s front brake kit for the Mazda CX-9 (TC) MK2 (2017-2026) addresses the front axle directly. It is a matched pair of front calipers and two-piece floating discs for the left and right corners, sized to manage heat far better than the standard vented discs, with three pad compounds that let you calibrate the setup to actual usage rather than accept a single-compound approach.
What this brake kit does for your 2017-2026 Mazda CX-9 (TC) MK2
Two-piece floating discs reduce rotating mass at the front corners while improving thermal transfer compared to conventional vented discs, a measurable gain on a vehicle that regularly puts its front brake circuit through significant heat cycles. Fade resistance improves on loaded descents, during extended motorway running at pace, and in stop-start urban driving where brief repeated applications accumulate heat before the discs recover. The Sport compound suits drivers who cover quick A-roads with regularity; the Racing compound handles sustained higher temperatures where the standard circuit runs out of headroom; the Street compound stays quiet and low-dust for the daily commute. Painted calipers are no-cost in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, or Anodized Black, and the discs can be drilled or slotted at the same price.
About the Hollow Front Brake Kit
The caliper is a hollow-body forging as standard, which strips mass from the assembly without sacrificing structural integrity or braking surface area. For owners who run the car hard on track there is an optional Hollow Racing upgrade, with the dust cover deleted, a 1000C rating, and a two-year warranty. The two-piece floating disc construction lets the friction ring expand under heat independently of its alloy bell, controlling coning and judder, while internal vanes channel air through the disc body to carry heat away from the friction surface during braking. Three pad compounds span everyday commuting and motorway running through to conditions where temperatures remain elevated for long periods, such as mountain routes, trailer work, or sustained spirited driving. Beyond the no-cost colours, custom Pantone matching is available for £150, with premium polished-forged finishes in Titanium, Polished Gold, and Polished Silver, and candy finishes in Teal, Blue, Red, and Orange. Centre-bell upgrades, two-tone anodizing in five colours or titanium, are selectable at checkout. XYZ Racing builds this kit around the specific thermal and geometric requirements of the heavier AWD CX-9 platform, not adapted from a lighter car’s spec.
Fitment for the Mazda CX-9 (TC) MK2 (2017-2026)
This kit is confirmed for the TC-generation Mazda CX-9, second-generation form, covering model years 2017 to 2026. The application covers the front axle only. If your CX-9 was supplied with a non-standard wheel package or trim-level brake variant, cross-reference your front disc dimensions before ordering.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 286–380mm (front). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
