Caliper render for this kit:

The AL10-generation Lexus RX 450h approaches two tonnes in hybrid trim, a mass that goes unnoticed on a motorway cruise but concentrates itself at the front axle the moment you brake hard from speed, descend a sustained Alpine pass, or carry a full load into an emergency stop. Lexus calibrated the factory friction braking around the hybrid’s regenerative contribution, a system engineered for seamless blending and refinement rather than outright stopping power; on a vehicle this heavy, that tuning leaves thermal headroom on the table.
The XYZ Racing front big brake kit works the front axle specifically, where demand under hard pedal inputs is greatest. It is a single-axle upgrade: a matched left-and-right pair of front calipers and two-piece floating discs with braided lines. Three pad compounds, Street, Sport and Racing, match the kit to the car’s actual use, from daily family SUV duties to repeated high-demand descents.
What this brake kit does for your 2008-2015 Lexus RX 450h (AL10)
The front axle of the AL10 RX 450h carries the dominant share of braking load under hard pedal inputs, and that demand becomes more acute when the hybrid’s regenerative phase transitions to friction-only braking at low speed or under heavy application. A more thermally capable caliper and two-piece floating disc, with its hollow-vane friction ring, manage heat accumulation across repeated stops more effectively, reducing the fade a sustained hard drive can induce in a vehicle of this weight. Painted caliper finishes, Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black at no extra cost, let the kit sit visibly and intentionally behind open-spoke alloys rather than being buried as functional grey. Street, Sport and Racing pad compounds are specified at order, so the kit arrives configured for the regime it will actually see: Street quiet and low-dust, Sport for mixed harder use, Racing for sustained high-temperature work.
About the front big brake kit
Built across the complete AL10 production run of the Lexus RX 450h, spanning 2008 to 2015, this is a front-axle upgrade for owners who find the factory system’s luxury-first calibration insufficient for heavier demands. Sustained mountain descents, spirited motorway driving with a full load, or simply the confidence of a front end that will not run short of thermal capacity when the situation escalates are the conditions it is designed around. The caliper is a hollow-body forged unit as standard; for the hardest sustained use you can step up to the Hollow Racing caliper, which loses the dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty. Three pad compounds cover the likely range: Street for routine driving, Sport for mixed conditions with occasional harder use, and Racing for owners who push the AL10’s front axle beyond what Lexus anticipated. Painted caliper colours are Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black, with any Pantone available as a Custom Color for £150, premium polished-forged finishes in Titanium, Polished Gold and Polished Silver, and candy finishes in Teal, Blue, Red and Orange. Discs come drilled or slotted at the same price, with a centre-bell upgrade to a two-tone anodized finish in five colours or to titanium at checkout.
Fitment for the Lexus RX 450h (AL10) (2008-2015)
This front brake kit fits the AL10-generation Lexus RX 450h across the full 2008 to 2015 model range, as a left-and-right front pair. The kit covers the front axle only; rear brake hardware is not included. Verify your existing front rotor diameter against the kit specification before ordering.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 286–380mm (front). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
