Caliper render for this kit:

Two and a half tonnes of body-on-frame luxury does not shed speed the way a sports car does. The GMT900 Escalade’s factory front brakes were calibrated for average road use: motorway miles, urban stops, the occasional tow at modest pace. Load the 6.2-litre V8 properly, push harder than the suspension geometry intended, or hook up a trailer near the Escalade’s substantial GVWR, and the stock caliper and disc combination reveals where its thermal reserve runs out.
The XYZ Racing front big brake kit for the 2007-2014 6200cc Escalade addresses the front axle directly, the end of the car carrying the majority of braking duty on the GMT900’s independent front suspension. A matched pair of calipers and two-piece floating discs, larger swept area, improved clamping force, and a choice of three pad compounds shift the point at which the brakes start to struggle well beyond what factory specification achieves.
What this big brake kit does for your 2007-2014 Cadillac ESCALADE 6200CC
Under hard braking the Escalade’s considerable mass transfers sharply forward: the nose compresses, the rear lightens, and everything that follows depends on what the front caliper can manage. The kit extends thermal headroom on that front end, so repeated braking events from speed do not accumulate into the progressive fade the stock system allows. The two-piece floating discs evacuate heat fast and expand under temperature without distorting the face, and braided stainless lines keep the pedal firm where heat would swell a stock rubber line.
Three pad compound options give the owner direct control over how the kit behaves. Street compound suits year-round daily use with quiet, low-dust running; Sport compound raises the bite threshold and operating temperature ceiling for mixed driving; the Racing compound handles the heat of sustained hard use, high-speed descents, or repeated towing where a softer compound would glaze. The included painted caliper colours of Red, Yellow, Gold, Black or Anodized Black let the result sit cleanly behind whatever wheel the Escalade is running, at no extra cost.
About the Hollow Front Big Brake Kit
XYZ Racing’s kits are built around the principle that a vehicle’s real braking limits only become apparent when the factory setup meets its thermal ceiling, which on a body-on-frame SUV of the GMT900’s mass happens sooner than the specification sheet suggests. Fitted as a front-axle pair to the 6200cc Escalade, the kit replaces the stock caliper assembly with units carrying more clamping area and better heat management, backed by a selectable pad compound. The calipers are hollow-body as standard for low corner weight, with the Hollow Racing caliper available as an upgrade for serious track use, no dust cover, rated to 1000C and a two-year warranty. Disc faces come drilled or slotted at the same price. Beyond the no-cost painted palette, Custom Color matches any Pantone for a set fee, and premium polished-forged (Titanium, Polished Gold, Polished Silver) and candy (Candy Teal, Candy Blue, Candy Red, Candy Orange) finishes are available. Two-tone centre bells in five anodized colours, or titanium, are selectable at checkout. Three pad grades give the kit genuine versatility: one configuration handles motorway commutes and school runs, another manages the kind of driving, or towing load, that genuinely taxes the front brakes on this generation of Escalade.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 286–380mm (front). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
