Caliper render for this kit:

The seventh-generation E65 7 Series was designed around the comfort mandate first, and BMW’s front brake specification for the 730 reflects that priority. The 730’s straight-six sits ahead of the centreline, loading the front axle with the majority of the car’s weight, and the OE hardware was calibrated for gradual, fade-tolerant deceleration rather than the repeated high-energy stops that become routine when an owner decides the E65’s genuine chassis capability is worth exploring.
This XYZ Racing front big brake kit for the BMW 7 Series E65 730 raises the thermal ceiling the stock system works within. Available across the full 2004-2008 production span, covering both the pre-LCI and LCI facelift build periods, with three pad compounds and a deep caliper finish menu, it lets owners configure the brake package to match how they actually use the car. It fits as a matched pair of front calipers and discs.
What this brake kit does for your 2004-2008 Bmw 7 Series E 65 730
On a car of the E65 730’s considerable mass, the front axle absorbs the majority of the braking energy during hard stops, and the two-piece floating disc at the heart of this kit is designed to handle that cycle more effectively than the OE discs. The hollow-vane rotor keeps disc temperatures lower across repeated braking events, reducing the fade onset comfort-compound factory pads are prone to under sustained use. Reduced rotating mass keeps the brake balance steady.
The compound choice means the friction character can be configured to the operating profile rather than accepting a single-grade compromise. Street is the quiet, low-dust default for daily service. Sport handles mixed fast-road driving with a higher heat range. Racing is the dedicated compound for event use. Caliper colours start with the no-cost painted options of Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, and Anodized Black. A Custom Color in any Pantone is £150, with premium polished-forged Titanium, Polished Gold, and Polished Silver, or candy Teal, Blue, Red, and Orange.
About the XYZ Racing Hollow Front Brake Kit
This is a complete front-axle upgrade developed for vehicles where the OE brake system’s thermal capacity is the limiting factor under sustained hard use. The two-piece floating disc creates internal channels that draw heat away from the friction surface and dissipate it more efficiently than a solid-faced rotor, extending the stable operating window before fade affects pedal response, with braided lines holding a firm pedal under heat. The caliper is a hollow-body forged unit as standard, with an optional Hollow Racing upgrade for serious track use that drops the dust cover, is rated to 1000C, and carries a two-year warranty. Discs come drilled or slotted at the same price, and centre bell upgrades are available two-tone in five anodized colours or in titanium. As a big brake application, the increased disc diameter over stock delivers greater thermal mass and a longer effective moment arm at the rotor, meaning equivalent stopping force with less clamping demand. Compound and colour are selected when you order.
Fitment for the Bmw 7 Series E 65 730 (2004-2008)
This kit is confirmed for the BMW 7 Series E65 730 across the 2004-2008 production years. The E65 generation spans pre-LCI and LCI facelift builds, with the facelift arriving in 2005; both fall within this fitment window. Both 730i petrol and 730d diesel specifications are covered. Confirm your exact build date and trim before completing configuration, as front-axle options varied across the E65 production run.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 286–380mm (front). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
