Caliper render for this kit:

On the F30 320i, the stock front braking setup sits at the base of what BMW offers across the 3 Series range: entry-spec single-piston sliding calipers and discs dimensioned for daily use, not repeated heat cycling. The car itself deserves better. Rear-wheel drive, a well-sorted multi-link rear end, 184bhp from either the N20 or the later B48 turbo four-cylinder, and a kerb weight that keeps the F30 agile. All of that chassis capability relies, at the critical moment, on the weakest hardware in the standard specification.
The XYZ Racing front brake kit is built for 2012 to 2018 BMW 3 Series F30 320i owners who have already found that limit. It is a single-axle upgrade, a matched pair of front calipers and discs. Three pad compounds cover the range from daily driver to circuit use, and the full caliper finish range lets the visual upgrade sit cleanly behind whatever alloys the build is running.
What this brake kit does for your 2012-2018 Bmw 3 Series F 30 320I
The F30 320i’s front axle carries the weight of the N20 or B48 unit, not a heavy engine by modern standards, but enough that the stock single-piston calipers begin to protest under sustained deceleration from motorway speeds or repeated circuit entries. Fitting the kit upgrades the front braking hardware across the board.
Two-piece floating discs reduce rotating mass and ride on an aluminium centre bell that lets the friction ring expand cleanly under heat, with hollow-vane internals drawing air through the disc body to keep temperatures down. The Street compound is the quiet, low-dust default that delivers a more direct pedal response on the road than the OEM setup; Sport is the crossover choice for fast-road driving where a track session occasionally appears on the calendar, with more bite and heat range; and Racing is there for cars that see genuine circuit time and need consistent bite as temperatures build. Caliper colour, visible through most of the open-spoke designs the F30 wears well, means the upgrade looks considered rather than incidental.
About the Hollow Front Brake Kit
The XYZ Racing caliper is built on a hollow body as standard, a structured step beyond the modest hardware fitted to the 320i. Three pad compounds give owners a direct choice over friction material: Street suits road-biased use where a more responsive, low-dust pedal is the priority; Sport covers the mixed-use case for drivers who split time between commuting and fast driving; and Racing is the selection for cars logging real track sessions where heat management matters.
Discs come drilled or slotted at the same price, and the centre bell can be specified two-tone in five anodized colours or in titanium. Caliper colour is painted at no cost in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, or Anodized Black; Custom Color matches any Pantone for £150; and premium polished-forged (Titanium, Polished Gold, Polished Silver) and candy finishes (Candy Teal, Candy Blue, Candy Red, Candy Orange) take the look to show grade, with the understanding that a big brake kit behind an open alloy is as visible a change as it is a functional one. The Hollow Racing caliper upgrade (no dust cover, rated 1000C, two-year warranty) and braided lines are there for serious track use. The front-only specification targets the axle where the 320i’s stock setup is most likely to reach its limits first.
Fitment for the Bmw 3 Series F 30 320I (2012-2018)
This front brake kit is designed for the BMW F30 3 Series in 320i specification across the full 2012 to 2018 production run, covering both the N20-engined cars built through the 2015 model year and the facelifted B48 cars that followed from the LCI onwards. F30 is the standard saloon body code; buyers with F31 Touring, F34 Gran Turismo, or xDrive variants should confirm fitment compatibility before ordering, as brake hardware specifications can vary across body-style and drivetrain derivatives.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 286–380mm (front). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
