Caliper render for this kit:

The M50B25’s appetite for extended rev use, and the pace it gives the E36 on fast road runs and circuit days, outgrew BMW’s original front brake specification long ago. Three decades on, the XYZ Racing front big brake kit offers the E36 325 a direct-fit upgrade that brings stopping capability in line with what these cars are now asked to do. It is a single front-axle kit: a matched pair of calipers and two-piece floating discs.
The E36’s inherently balanced chassis, MacPherson struts up front, multi-link at the rear and a near-even weight distribution, responds clearly to braking improvement. Shorter stopping distances translate into later braking markers, and the trail-braking the platform naturally enables becomes more exploitable once you are not managing fade through a corner entry. Three selectable pad compounds extend the kit’s usefulness across the full spread of E36 use, from fast-road driving to committed track sessions.
What this brake kit does for your 1990-1995 Bmw 3 SERIES E 36 325
Upgrading the front braking on the E36 325 extends capability well beyond what BMW specified for a road car thirty years ago. Sustained thermal performance matters specifically here. E36 owners running multiple track sessions know that standard-spec front brakes lose feel progressively through a day’s lapping, and a kit sized for higher loads removes that variable. The hollow-vane disc draws cooling air through the rotor body and the two-piece floating ring grows under heat without coning, trimming rotating and unsprung mass in the bargain.
Pad compound covers road use through to circuit applications without a hardware swap, chosen when you order. Racing delivers the firm, high-temperature bite needed under sustained load, Sport adds bite and heat range for mixed fast-road and track use, and Street keeps progressive feel and low dust for daily driving. Braided lines firm the pedal and discs come drilled or slotted at the same price. Caliper colour across Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black is included at no extra cost, with a Custom Color in any Pantone for £150, suiting both stripped-out track builds and road cars where presentation under open-spoke wheels matters.
About the Hollow Front Brake Kit
The XYZ Racing front big brake kit is built for performance road and track fitments, with components sized beyond the standard factory fitment to provide increased swept area and greater thermal capacity than BMW specified for the original E36 325. The caliper runs a hollow body as standard, keeping reciprocating weight low. Pad compound is selected at order from three grades, so buyers specify the friction material to match actual use rather than defaulting to a single compound. For dedicated circuit work a Hollow Racing upgrade drops the dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty. Included painted colours plus premium polished-forged and candy finishes, along with two-tone or titanium centre bells, reflect that these kits go on cars where attention is paid to how the hardware looks as well as how it performs.
Fitment for the Bmw 3 SERIES E 36 325 (1990-1995)
This front kit is confirmed for the BMW 3 Series E36 platform in 325 specification, covering the 1990 to 1995 model years. E36 325 variants across this span, saloon, coupé and convertible, share the same front hub geometry and brake mounting architecture, making this a consistent fit across body styles. Verify your specific build year and variant against the fitment data before ordering.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 286–380mm (front). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
