Caliper render for this kit:

Two tonnes-plus of grand tourer pressing onto its front axle under a full-pressure stop from motorway speed concentrates the mind about brake temperature in a way that most car purchases never require. The Continental GT V8 MK2’s twin-turbo V8 builds speed readily from low in the rev range, which means the front axle absorbs a disproportionate share of the consequent braking load, the nose-heavy weight distribution of this platform putting the majority of work squarely on these discs. For owners using the MK2 on track days, mountain passes, or simply at the pace the car invites on an open road, the OEM setup’s thermal headroom is where the conversation about an upgrade begins.
The XYZ Racing Hollow front brake kit for the Continental GT V8 MK2 addresses this directly. It is a single-axle front kit, supplying a matched pair of front calipers and front discs, with three pad compounds and a wide range of caliper finishes allowing the installation to be matched to actual use rather than a compromise position.
What this brake kit does for your 2011-2018 Bentley Continental GT V8 MK2
The hollow-vane, two-piece floating discs shed heat more readily than a solid-cast equivalent, which on a car of this mass means the fade threshold arrives later and recovery between braking events is quicker. The front axle on the MK2 Continental GT is working hard in ordinary road use; under repeated hard stops from speed, a standard disc is operating at the edge of its thermal envelope, and the floating construction keeps pad contact even as the rotor expands with heat. The upgrade extends that margin without requiring a change in driving approach.
Three pad compounds span the practical range of use. Street is the quiet, low-dust road default that remains manageable in cold-start conditions, which matters on a damp November morning as much as a dry track day. Sport offers improved bite and thermal resistance for fast roads and occasional hard sessions. Racing is calibrated for elevated operating temperatures and delivers consistent performance when the system is properly warm, suited to dedicated circuit sessions where the braking zones cycle the pads through their working range. Discs come drilled or slotted at the same price. Caliper finish runs from the included painted colours of Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black at no extra cost, through Custom Color in any Pantone, to premium polished-forged and candy options, so the visible result matches the car’s finish or the owner’s specification.
About the Hollow Front Brake Kit
XYZ Racing’s calipers are hollow-bodied as standard, paring mass from the corner while preserving clamping force, and the kit’s two-piece disc construction increases the surface area available for heat transfer, letting the rotor shed temperature faster than a conventional cast equivalent. For a grand tourer in the Continental GT’s weight class, managing heat under sustained use is the central challenge, and the construction addresses it at the source.
The kit spans three pad compounds. Street covers everyday use and retains sensible characteristics in cold-start conditions where a full racing compound would feel wooden. Sport improves bite and resistance to fade on fast roads and occasional track visits. Racing operates best once heat is in the system and suits circuit sessions with proper warm-up laps. Disc style is drilled or slotted at the same price, and centre bell upgrades in two-tone anodized colours or titanium are selectable at checkout, alongside braided lines. For serious track use, the optional Hollow Racing caliper upgrade runs without a dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty. Caliper finishes run from the included painted colours through to Custom Color in any Pantone and premium polished-forged or candy options for owners who want a specific match to their car’s colour or livery.
Fitment for the Bentley Continental GT V8 MK2 (2011-2018)
This kit fits the Bentley Continental GT V8 MK2 across the 2011 to 2018 model year span. The V8 variant’s braking specification differs from the W12 Continental GT and from the Continental GTC convertible; this fitment is specific to the V8 MK2 coupe. Confirm your chassis code and build specification before ordering.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 286–380mm (front). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
