Caliper render for this kit:

The D3 A8’s ASF aluminium space frame keeps kerb weight lower than a steel-bodied rival of the same footprint, but the 3.2 FSI quattro is still a large, heavy saloon, and it covers ground at motorway pace with the effortless composure that makes its brakes work harder than the driver typically notices. The standard front setup is adequate for the car’s original brief. Change that brief, sustained high-speed work, mountain descents, repeated hard stops on a track day, and the thermal load accumulates on a different curve than OE geometry handles well.
The XYZ Racing front brake kit for the Audi A8 3.2 FSI 4WD (2007-2010) addresses that margin directly. It is a front-axle pair: left and right front calipers with matched two-piece floating discs that cut unsprung mass at the front and increase the rate at which heat exits the rotor during and after each stop. Three pad compounds extend the kit’s range from daily-use refinement through to sustained high-temperature work.
What this brake kit does for your 2007-2010 Audi A8 3.2 FSI 4WD
Front brake bias under hard deceleration is significant on the D3 A8, where the quattro layout’s weight distribution means the front axle consistently absorbs the majority of braking energy in any serious stop. The two-piece floating discs lower rotational inertia at each front corner, and the hollow-vane design improves heat shedding, so bite point and pedal travel remain consistent across repeated stops rather than creeping as fluid temperatures climb. Braided lines hold the pedal firm where rubber hoses would swell. The Street compound delivers crisper cold-bite over the OE pad without altering daily character; Sport steps up bite and fade resistance for spirited road driving; Racing is the track compound that raises the thermal ceiling further for circuit use where temperatures stay elevated. Calipers are hollow-bodied as standard, with a Hollow Racing upgrade for serious track use, rated to 1000C, no dust cover, two-year warranty.
About the Front Brake Kit
The two-piece floating disc uses hollow-vane internal geometry machined to create additional airflow channels through the rotor body rather than puncturing the friction surface. On a high-mass vehicle like the A8 this matters: sustained hard stops generate heat faster than a standard vented disc can dissipate, and the design extends the window before thermal fade registers through the pedal. The three-compound system maps to real conditions: Street for the owner wanting improved cold-bite over OE on a well-maintained road car; Sport for the driver who runs the A8 hard on challenging routes; Racing for consistent high-energy braking cycles. Discs come in drilled or slotted face at the same price, with optional two-tone centre bells in five anodized colours or titanium at checkout. Included caliper colours are Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black at no extra cost, with a Custom Color in any Pantone for £150 and premium polished-forged (Titanium, Polished Gold, Polished Silver) and candy finishes (Teal, Blue, Red, Orange) also available, so the installation looks considered rather than incidental.
Fitment for the Audi A8 3.2 FSI 4WD (2007-2010)
This front brake kit is confirmed for the Audi A8 3.2 FSI 4WD across the 2007-2010 production window, covering the later D3 facelift generation. If your build date falls close to the 2010 boundary, where the D4 A8 was introduced, verify your specific chassis code before ordering.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 286–380mm (front). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
