XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — Volkswagen CORRADO G60 1988-1995

The Corrado G60’s iron-block, supercharged front end sits heavy over the driven axle, and on a circuit that weight shift is the first thing you feel through the nose. The XYZ Racing Circuit Master coilover is built for exactly that fight: holding a nose-led front-drive coupe flat through sustained lap work rather than smoothing a Sunday commute. It is the firmest, most adjustable rung in the XYZ range, aimed at owners who run their Corrado on track days rather than just driving to them.

Where a fast-road kit leans toward compliance, the Circuit Master is set up for repeat sessions on a hot circuit. For a 1988-1995 Volkswagen Corrado G60 that means controlling body roll and front-axle load transfer under braking, so the G-Lader car puts its supercharged torque down on corner exit instead of washing wide.

What this coilover does for your 1988-1995 Volkswagen Corrado G60

With 9720 distinct adjustment combinations spread across three separate knobs, you can split ride height from damping and set the front and rear to suit the Corrado’s natural understeer bias. Drop and firm the front and you sharpen turn-in on a chassis that, from the factory, was always tuned toward safe push. Keep the body level under that heavy G60 nose during trail-braking and you get a more honest read of front grip before the limit arrives. On a smoother B-road the same kit settles into a usable, if firm, road setting, but it earns its place once the laps stack up and the surface gets hot.

About the Circuit Master coilover

The Circuit Master sits at the competition end of the XYZ catalogue, sharing its design with the brand’s Racing Spec, Drift Spec and Tarmac Rally dampers. It has been run and developed by XYZ racing teams across international circuits, with long-duration testing behind it rather than a single bench pull. The headline figure is that 9720-way adjustment range, delivered through three adjuster knobs that let you treat ride height and damping as separate problems. One consequence of that design is a small oil hole in the adjustment path: hit a sharp bump and the damper oil is forced through a narrow passage, which can produce a faint noise. That is inherent to the construction, not a fault, and on the smooth tarmac the Circuit Master is built for it rarely shows itself.

Fitment for the Volkswagen Corrado G60 (1988-1995)

This kit is cut specifically for the G60 chassis Corrado built between 1988 and 1995 – the supercharged G-Lader car, not the later VR6. It fits the Corrado G60’s standard front strut and rear suspension mounting points. Confirm your exact build year against the configurator before ordering.
