XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — Toyota PASEO (CYNOS) L4 1991-1995

The first-generation Paseo (Cynos) is one of the lightest coupes Toyota built, and it left the factory with a soft, comfort-led damper tune that lets the body lean and the front end wash wide long before the chassis actually runs out of grip. The XYZ Racing Circuit Master coilover for the Toyota Paseo (Cynos) L4 1991-1995 is built to address exactly that, turning a momentum car into a sharp one.

Circuit Master is the most serious damper XYZ Racing makes, sharing its valving philosophy with the brand’s Racing, Drift and Tarmac Rally specs. For a featherweight front-driver that lives or dies on corner speed, it gives you the control to hold a tighter line under braking and keep the nose planted where the standard car would understeer away.

What this coilover does for your 1991-1995 Toyota Paseo (Cynos) L4

With 9720 distinct settings across its three adjustment knobs, the Circuit Master lets you separate low-speed body control from high-speed compliance and set ride height to suit your local circuit. Take the lean out of the soft factory setup and turn-in gets immediate: the front tyres load progressively rather than all at once, and you can trail the brakes deeper into a corner without the nose pushing wide. On a light front-driver, that translates directly into carrying more speed through the apex and getting the modest power down earlier on the way out. Mid-corner bumps that would unsettle the standard car are absorbed without knocking it off line.

About the Circuit Master coilover

XYZ Racing positions the Circuit Master as its competition damper, developed alongside the Racing, Drift and Tarmac Rally variants and tested by XYZ race teams across international circuits. The headline is breadth of adjustment: 9720 individual combinations spread over three separate knobs, so compression, rebound and height can each be tuned independently rather than as a single compromise. The design uses a small oil-passage valving arrangement, which is what gives it such fine control. One consequence is a faint noise when the dampers work hard over large bumps, as oil moves through the narrow passages, and that is normal behaviour. Since this kit is built for the smooth surfaces of a circuit rather than broken back roads, it is rarely a factor in the environment it was made for.

Fitment for the Toyota Paseo (Cynos) L4 (1991-1995)

This kit is built specifically for the first-generation Toyota Paseo (Cynos) L4, chassis code CYNOS, covering the 1991 to 1995 model years. It is a direct-fit application for that car. Confirm your chassis code and production year fall inside that 1991-1995 window before ordering, and the spec listed here will bolt straight on.
