XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Mercedes-Benz G CLASS G63 W463 4WD (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2018-2026

The W463 G63’s factory air suspension and adaptive damping were engineered around a 2,560kg luxury SUV that also happens to do 0-60 in under five seconds. It is a brilliant compromise until you start asking it questions it was never set up to answer – sustained mountain-road pace, controlled body movement under brake-and-turn, or simply a stance that does not look like the truck is squatting at every set of lights.

Drift Spec swaps that compromise out wholesale. This kit is the Drift Spec coilover for the G63 W463 G-Class with the electronic damping cancellation harness included, so the AIRMATIC fault codes that normally light up the dash when you delete the OE struts are suppressed at the source. It is a mechanical answer to an electronic problem on one of the most idiosyncratic chassis in the modern Mercedes range.

What this coilover does for your 2018-2026 Mercedes Benz G Class G63 W463 4WD (cancellation Kit For Electronic Damping)

The first thing you feel on a coilover-converted W463 is the body settling. The G-Class rides on a separate ladder-frame chassis with solid axles front and rear, and the factory air setup masks that architecture with software. Going to a properly valved coilover gives you back the honest signal – you can read what the rear axle is doing on throttle, you can carry the nose into a corner without the front diving into its own travel, and the truck stops pitching like a boat when you trail the brake into a roundabout. Height adjustment lets you drop the visual gap over the 22-inch wheels without compromising approach angle for the kerb at home. The Drift Spec valving runs firmer on rebound than a Street spec, which keeps the upper body composed when 2.5 tonnes of SUV starts loading laterally.

About the Drift Spec coilover

Drift Spec sits at the harder end of the XYZ Racing road-and-circuit range and is built around a monotube damper with full external height adjustment independent of spring preload, so corner-weighting the truck does not change ride height. The kit ships with the cancellation module pre-wired for the W463’s AIRMATIC ECU, which is the part of the job most installers underestimate – without it the dash throws a permanent suspension warning and the vehicle defaults to a fault state. Spring rates are matched to the kerb weight and weight distribution of the G63 specifically, not carried over from a lighter SUV platform. Damping is adjustable so the truck can run softer for the school run and firmer for the back roads.

Fitment for the Mercedes Benz G CLASS G63 W463 4WD (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) (2018-2026)

This kit fits the W463 (chassis code ME61-C) G63 4WD built from 2018 through 2026, and is the variant specifically supplied with the electronic damping cancellation harness. Confirm at order that your truck is the G63 AMG (not the G500 or G350d, which use different mounting and a different cancellation strategy) and that it is running the factory AIRMATIC system you intend to delete.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.
